We increase the quality and efficiency of our sub-branch services with our general internal medicine (internal medicine) services.
General internal medicine (internal diseases) directs patients to the right department all over the world and in our country. If the patient does not have a sub-branch diagnosis related to a known internal disease, it is recommended to first come to the general internal medicine outpatient clinic. The general internal medicine outpatient clinic is extremely important in terms of making the first elimination and referring the patient to the relevant sub-unit.
The general internal medicine department diagnoses and refers to the following fields,
⦁ Nephrology (kidneys),
⦁ Gastroenterology (digestive system),
⦁ Hematology (blood and coagulation disorders),
⦁ Endocrine and metabolic diseases (glands and hormones),
⦁ Rheumatology (joints)
⦁ It plays an important role in guiding the patients to the side branches such as geriatrics (elderly health) correctly, collecting the results from different branches and evaluating them together.
In summary; in our hospitals, internal diseases sub specialists and general internal medicine polyclinics work in coordination and provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for all health problems of adults.

⦁ We aim to provide optimum environmental and social support and care for the patient and therefore provide patient-centered services.
⦁ Preventive medicine is of great importance for older people. Preventive medicine practices include lifestyle changes, protection from accidents, prevention of cardiovascular diseases, monitoring and prevention of changes in oral and dental health, psychosis and mental health, scanning tests and vaccination programs.
⦁ Thanks to these practices, it is possible to protect health and slow down or stop the progression of chronic diseases.
⦁ "Versatile Geriatric Assessment" is performed in geriatric patients (at advanced age). In this assessment, unlike the standard medical evaluation, the medical problems, functional status, geriatric syndromes and quality of life of elderly people are assessed in various scales.
⦁ It is also possible to determine the most risky group in terms of geriatric problems called "frail elderly" with a versatile geriatric assessment.
⦁ Frail elderly people are at increased risk of falls, functional dependence, hospitalization and death. Identifying this patient group and arranging a treatment plan are among the most important goals of multi-dimensional geriatric evaluation.
