Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi.
In our department, outpatients are followed up and treated, and hospitalization decisions are made when necessary. In addition, patients being treated in other departments who receive inpatient treatment in our hospital are followed up and treated in terms of infections.
In the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory affiliated to our department, tests are carried out to detect microorganisms that cause disease. In our Clinical Microbiology Laboratory;

· Tests on serology (the science that studies antibodies fighting microorganisms in the blood) are performed.
