Why EOS?

In conventional X-ray imaging, especially when the patient is in a lying position, the true values of the spinal curvature cannot be determined exactly. However, with EOS, the correct proportions can be determined and the whole body can be viewed at once. Another feature of the EOS device is that it helps to reduce the radiation dose that pediatric patients are exposed to in repeated X-ray imaging. Thus, 3D imaging of the entire spine from the head to the feet is provided with 90% less radiation compared to conventional x-ray devices.

Stands out in the diagnosis of scoliosis

In scoliosis disease, which is expressed as the curvature that can be seen in the back and waist regions of the spine, the vertebrae can move left and right, although they should be in a straight line; it can rotate around its own axis.
